In addition to these offerings, the city organizes the New Year’s Eve celebration outdoors every year, along with many other events as part of the Banja Luka Winter Festival. The New Year’s Eve celebration traditionally takes place in the central square, but this year, due to ongoing construction work on the Palas Hotel and the reconstruction of streets in the city center, the central New Year’s celebration will be at the new square near the sports arena, located by Mladen Stojanovi\u0107 Park.<\/p>\n

Mladen Stojanovi\u0107 Park will also be specially decorated, and a winter park called “Zimzopark” will be arranged within it. Zimzopark will be designed to accommodate visitors of all age groups, all as part of the holiday celebration. The entire event is called Zimzobal. For the New Year’s Eve celebration, the city has organized concerts featuring two prominent regional music stars. \u017deljko Samard\u017ei\u0107 will entertain the audience on New Year’s Eve, while a concert by Lepa Brena is scheduled for the first day of the New Year.<\/p>\n
